Choose the correct IPTV Smarters app
Use the IPTV Smarters provider’s current site to choose the app and download path for your device. The provider publishes separate platform experiences and may change app names, stores, and login labels. Do not install a similarly named app from an unverified source. The app is a player: it needs a playlist or login from a source you are permitted to use.
The public provider material describes M3U and Xtream-style source connections, but labels are not identical across TV, mobile, desktop, and web builds. The usual current path is Home > Add New Playlist or the plus button > choose M3U URL or Xtream Codes API. If your build instead starts at Login, use the matching Add playlist option after sign-in. When a menu differs, check the provider docs rather than guessing.

Add an EPG or XMLTV guide URL

If your app shows an EPG or XMLTV field during playlist setup, add the XMLTV URL supplied by the same source. In builds that separate it from playlist setup, look under Settings > EPG, Guide, or Playlist settings > EPG source. These labels are version-dependent; if the field is not present, check the provider’s current docs instead of placing the XMLTV URL in the M3U field.
Save the guide source, refresh the playlist, and wait for the guide database to finish updating. A guide depends on matching channel IDs and current programme data. If the source supplied an EPG URL separately from the playlist, ask that source whether it expects a particular channel-id mapping. iPTiVi’s guide view and IPTV Smarters’ local EPG are separate systems.
Refresh, test, and keep credentials private
After saving the connection, refresh the playlist and test one channel from each important group. If the app supports multiple playlists, add them one at a time so you can identify which source is failing. Confirm that the device clock, network connection, and app permissions are correct before changing advanced playback settings.
A playlist URL or Xtream password is an access credential. Do not paste it into a public support ticket, screenshot, analytics event, or source listing. If you think it has been exposed, ask the source provider whether it can be rotated. iPTiVi can organize the source information available to your account, but it does not control the third-party player’s menus, buffering, or device compatibility.

Playlist will not load
Verify whether the source gave you M3U or Xtream details, check every field for spaces or missing characters, and confirm the provider has not changed the server address. Use the provider docs for your device build.
EPG is not showing
Confirm the XMLTV field is saved in the playlist or EPG settings, refresh the guide, and check channel-ID matching. If your app has no EPG field, check the current provider documentation.
Channels buffer
Test another channel and another network, restart the app, and ask the source provider whether the stream is online. Avoid changing several player settings at once.
Guide time zone is wrong
Check the device time zone and any app guide offset. Confirm whether the XMLTV feed timestamps are UTC or include a regional offset before applying a correction.
